The Challenge
- Content Updates: The team sought to refresh website product pages to help attract more prospects via search. Our campaign focused on repositioning the content to better align with user search intent.
- Issues with Hreflang and Canonicals: Because the client had multiple regional sites, many of the client's pages were non-indexable by Google. We needed to implement a plan to improve the hreflang and canonical structure across 15 subfolders.
- Toxic Backlinks: Over time, the website had accumulated multiple toxic backlinks. We ran an extensive backlink analysis to diagnose and recommend a solution for disavowing those backlinks.

The Execution
We began with a deep analysis of Yokogawa's competitors' search landscape. Using our keyword analytics tool, we uncovered untapped keywords that amounted to over 100,000 searches per month.
Our proprietary audit analyzed each site page with five different SEO data sources to find technical roadblocks, low-quality content, and underperforming pages.
We analyzed and implemented improvements for the website's product pages, enhancing the metadata, on-page copy, and structure.
We worked with the company's digital team to implement suggested modifications across the website, updating approximately 500 pages in three months.

Results
In three months, our SEO campaign with Yokogawa saw a 5000 increase in organic clicks (50K to 55K) and 250,000 increase in organic impressions (1.95m to 2.25m). While the increase in clicks was a substantial amount, the huge increase in impressions was a clear indicator of a positive trend. The more impressions
In terms of everyday users, we saw a 10.36% growth in users and a 12% increase in sessions.
Clickthrough rate and average position remained relatively the same even with the increase in clicks and impressions.
